Shorebird Walk at Ash Creek

Late summer is an incredible time to visit Fairfield’s Ash Creek, a Long Island Sound estuary, as it is warmed by the sun and filled with a bounty of creatures, including an excellent variety of shorebirds. Come explore this amazing natural world with Connecticut Audubon’s Milan Bull, senior director of Science and Conservation, during this early morning bird walk.

Members $15, Non-members $20. Pre-registration required. Registration has closed.

This program is for adults only. All levels of birders are welcome. Group is limited to 12 participants. Please bring binoculars. Rain cancels. Once registered, participants will need to complete a waiver

*The program will be held at the Town of Fairfield Ash Creek Open Space, located at the end of Turney Road, near South Benson Marina. Please inform the guard at the Marina entrance that you are attending a Connecticut Audubon Society guided field program (additional information will be sent after registration).
