Saturday, May 19
10 a.m.
All Connecticut Bird Atlas Volunteers, and anyone else who wants to submit data for the Bird Atlas, are invited to attend this training session led by Volunteer Coordinator Craig Repasz.
Craig will review the Atlas Breeding Protocol, discuss the breeding codes and give technical support for entering data and for navigation. Please come with your questions.
Anyone involved or interested in this project, not just registered volunteers, is invited. Note that the material will be specific to the Bird Atlas and may not appeal to those mainly looking to improve their birding skills.
Any interested person may submit data during the three-year survey, not just registered volunteers. If you're unfamiliar with the project, click here and here to learn about it.
Admission is free, but please click here to reserve your seat. Donations to support the Connecticut Audubon Society are welcome.
