Many species depend on cavities within the wood of tree trucks and limbs to safely raise their young, and these are some of the easiest species to assist by adding nest boxes to the landscape. While taking a gentle walk on trails through meadow and forest habitats, conservation biologist Jim Arrigoni will showcase a variety of nest boxes intended for three different kinds of birds (Eastern Bluebird, Wood Duck & Purple Martin) and share information about how you might be able to attract these and other species to your habitat! https://maps.google.com/maps?z=16&daddr=57+Wakeman+Hill+Road++Sherman+CT+06784++USAMore information about Conservation for Cavity Nesters Walk After-School Nature ExplorersAfter-School Nature ExplorersMay 27, 2021 3:45 pm - 5:00 pmMore information about After-School Nature Explorers Project Limulus Horseshoe Crab Zoom ProgramProject Limulus Horseshoe Crab Zoom ProgramMay 27, 2021 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm Coastal CenterCoastal Center 1 MIlford Point Road Milford, CT 06460 203-878-7440 More information about Project Limulus Horseshoe Crab Zoom Program |
